1953 Corvette

Waldorf Astoria Holtel New York, January 17th 1953. The all new Corvette is presented to the public. 90% of the visitors had positive comments on the new car....

I do not have a Corvette by now, this should be the last project in the "50´s Sporty Cars Collection".

This is the first Corvette leaving the assembly line. Given the prices for 53 Corvettes, I will probably look more for a 54 model instead....

At least the passenger door on this one fits nicely, the Vettes from this era are well know for poorly fitting doors.
