Why a 914-6?
My second car as a young guy was a 914. Was this a reliable car? No. Was it an affordable car? No. But for some reason this was "my" car. Of course I had to sell it at one point of time to buy something more reliable. But already back then, I said that if I can find an unmolested, European delivery, all original and matching in Gemini Blue Metallic car - then I am going to buy it.

Here we go, decades later I found this one. The car went in storage in 1981. This is how the car looked like when I saw him the first time in his dungeon. Looks exactly like mine de-cades ago and is exactly, what I was looking for. Very good base for an ex-tensive restoration project. Car should be disassembled, partially sandblasted, all components completely overhauled...

Yes, it is a European delivery with matching numbers, confirmed by Porsche with a Porsche birth certificate. Analyzing the VIN number, this must have been one of the 20 last cars running from the Zuffenhausen assembly line.
It seems, that also "14" feels good in the garage with his siblings... :-)
